Established in 1952 by Glenn White, Sturgis Electric Motor is a family operated business that has provided quality service to Industrial, Agricultural and individual customers in the St. Joseph County area for over 50 years. Now run by Glenn's son, Allen White, Sturgis Electric Motor continues to provide personal customer service while looking to the future with continued success and growth.
We are proud members of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA). The EASA is a world wide organization of electrical motor shop owners and managers. Through its many engineering and educational programs, the EASA provides members with a means of keeping up to date on materials, equipment, and state-of-the-art technology. The EASA also establishes standards of business practices and quality by which electric motors must be repaired and rewound. As a member of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA), Sturgis Electric Motor pledges to maintain the highest of EASA standards through quality service and workmanship.
